ALFRED SANT ... was born in 1948 and graduated B.Sc and M.Sc in Physics from the University of Malta in 1968. He studied public administration and diplomacy at the Institut International d’Administration Publique (I.I.A.P.) in Paris (now part of E.N.A., the Ecole Nationale d’Administration) and was awarded the I.I.A.P.’s diploma. Between 1970 and 1975, Sant worked as second and first secretary, specializing in European affairs and in bilateral relations with Western European countries, at Malta’s Mission to the then European Economic Community in Brussels; the Mission doubled as an embassy to the Benelux, West Germany, France and Spain. |
